The Ranthambore National Park remains open for visitors based on safari timing from 1st October to 30th June every year. The park remains closed from the month of July to September for visitors due to the rainy season. The best time to visit Ranthambore national park is from the month of November to April when the weather is mild. At that time you can see the animals without any discomfort due to the weather. There are two safaris in a day from the month of October to June, one starts in the morning and the other in the late afternoon, The Climate of Ranthambore and Best Time to Visit.

Generally, the morning safari starts half an hour after sunrise and the evening safari finishes half an hour before the sunset. Therefore, the timings change a bit every 2 months. Each safari has a duration of three to three and a half hours.  Summer temperatures in Ranthambore can cross 45 degrees Celsius in the daytime. Nighttime winter temperatures can go down to 2 degrees Celsius. Winter temperatures in the daytime have a pleasant 16 to 20 degrees and are ideal for touring the Ranthambore National Park.

The park is green after the monsoon and wildlife are generous. To spend the winters many migratory birds come to Ranthambore. If you wear enough protective clothing, the chill wind aspect will not bother you, even in the early morning or late evening.

Ranthambore Tiger Reserve is known for its sub-tropical arid climate. There are three kinds of weather – winter, summer, Monsoon in the Tiger reserve. Generally, Weather changes in October and March, from Monsoon to winter season and from winter to summer season, respectively.

Commonly, the summer season starts during the end of March and remains until the month of June. It is a very hot and dry environment in the summer months. During the summer season, the temperature in maximum days remains around 46 degree Celsius and minimum night temperature remains around 30 degrees Celsius, humidity remains at its lowest.

Monsoon begins in late or after June and remains up to September. The Weather remains full of humidity and heat, and the rain is floundering once or twice in a week. With such a long monsoon break in Ranthambore, the weather becomes very warm and moist.  Aridity is a common happening in and around the Ranthambore National park. During monsoons, the park has thick forests along with good grassland and resultant. And animal tends to focus on the forest and carnivorous animals follow them. In Monsoon season some spots also become a picnic place for the visitors in Ranthambore. The usual yearly rainfall is about 800 mm in Ranthambhore. The winter period in Ranthambore lasts from the month of November to February. In winter the night temperature stays below 10° Celsius, whereas, the daytime temperature flutters around 20 degrees Celsius. During the month of December and January the night temperature drops below 2° Celsius. Usually, you can find some drizzle and fog during the mid-winter season.
